Reading!

Phinn has been doing well in school. Despite the grumbling about not wanting to go, he's learning a ton. Last night, after Clementine was asleep, I sat down to read to Phinn and Gigi. The story Gigi picked out was fairly short and as I started to read Phinn started to read. When I stopped he continued. He only needed some help with a few bigger words but otherwise did an excellent job. I've sort of been dreading actually sitting down to read with him because I knew the process could take some patience. It turns out I was dreading it for nothing. He's reading and now the fun begins! I couldn't be happier about this if I tried.
